State Fair 2010

We took Ethan and Elena to their first State Fair this year! It's the first time I've been since I was young too. We went with our friends the Klaus family. We had a great time and both kids were sound asleep in the car on our way home :)

First stop was the backyard circus

Makenzie got to be one of the Butterfly dancers in the circus

Then we headed to the dog show

Next stop was the petting zoo - amazing all of the different types of animals they had

Then we enjoyed some yummy fair food, corn dogs, fried frito pie, and fried oreos!

We then had to take Ethan to see the car show

Last stop - the giant ferris wheel!

The girl has no fear! We were close to the top and she just looked straight down and enjoyed the lights. We got to see fireworks set off from the cotton bowl while we were up there too - kids really enjoyed it.
