March for Babies

We had the priviledge of participating in the March of Dimes, March for Babies. This is a 5-mile walk that raises money to help babies born too soon and fund research for illnesses that affect babies. Some friends of ours, the Sievers family, lost their baby boy Nash at 5 months old to an undiagonosed heart defect. They are an amazing family with such strength and faith. I cannot imagine going through what they have. We walked with their team in memory of sweet Nash. If you are a parent reading this, please remember how precious our children are and hug your babies a few extra times today!

You can read more about Nash's story here.

The Sievers family, Brad, Tracy, Tate and Knox. They have baby #4 on the way!
Getting ready to walk

Tracy did such an amazing job raising money, I think they said she was the highest indivdual raising around $10,000! Because of her efforts, they had a large banner on the path honoring sweet Nash!

This is a sign for Nash that was also on the walking path. These are Nash's precious brothers. How sweet is this picture!

Sweet little Knox who never got to meet his big brother was so facisinated with Nash's sign. He kept touching it and looking at it. Such a sweet display of love!
