The kids got to do their very own race! :) Their school has a "Fun Run" to raise money for the parent organization. Each of the kids' classes took turns running laps to raise money. They got pledges from us and the grandparents for each lap they completed. Ethan made 18 laps and Elena and Emery both did 16! Each lap was estimated at 1/9th a mile, so all 3 kids did almost 2 miles - Daddy is proud ;)
